A grab bar screwed into tile alone can pull free under load. Professional installation means finding framing, adding blocking, or using a manufacturer-approved mounting system designed for the wall type.
Our approach
Three principles, in order:
- Install into framing whenever practical
- Install blocking when appropriate
- When framing is unavailable, use manufacturer-approved systems — we standardize on Moen SecureMount
Repeatable, supported methods
We use Moen grab bars and Moen SecureMount because they are tested, documented, and backed by the manufacturer. That matters when someone’s safety depends on the install.
